This is the first touch with the beauty and majesty of nature. The
intention of the course is to arouse children’s curiosity and anxiety
to gain intimate knowledge of the world of the wild nature. The children
master their team work skills; they learn to listen, to express their
opinion and respect others. And they find new friends. Winter courses
include: Getting to know the winter mountain - dangers, basic techniques in Alpine
skiing, hiking with snowshoes, winter shelters "solo", night
hike, navigation in the winter mountain, first aid training, specialized
games, discussions, storytelling.
Summer
courses include: Getting to know the summer mountain - dangers, mountain navigation and
first aid training, camping, getting to know the climbing gear,
"low ropes”, summer shelters; "solo", hiking and
mountain top climbing, specialized games, discussion, storytelling.

Discoverer
8
- 10 days course designed for children ages 10 - 12, 13 -
15.

This course allows children the opportunity to experience the diversity,
beauty, and magnificence of nature as an alternative to their everyday
environment. Children acquire basic skills for surviving in the
wilderness and facing challenges. Participants discover new qualities
in themselves and begin to respect personalities unlike their own.
They learn to accept responsibility and to work as a team.
Winter courses
include:
Getting
to know the winter mountain and mastering basic survival skills, first
aid training, basic Alpine skiing skills, hiking with snowshoes, winter
shelters "solo", avalanche knowledge, night hike and mountain
orienteering. There are specialized games, storytelling, discussions,
sketches, humor and fun!

course designed for teenagers ages 13-15, 15-17

taking part in various activities, young people are encouraged to meet
challenges and go beyond their limits. The feeling of safety,
understanding, and support is a necessary condition for their full
self-expression. Participants acquire skills for positive and creative
communication and analysis of situations and team problem-solving.
Throughout the course the ideas of human values, man's place in
nature, and his attitude towards it are discussed.
Winter
courses include: Alpine skiing, tour skiing, avalanche knowledge, avalanche rescue action
and first aid medical training practice, non-impact camping,
"solo" time, night hike. Specialized games for
ice-breaking, orienteering, teambuilding and challenge games,
stories, discussions, and fun!

Sea Adventurer
8 day course
designed for teenagers ages 11-14, 14-18.
| The intention of the course is to give the participants chance to get to
know the variety and beauty of the Black Sea coastal wild nature. Through
taking part in various activities, young people are encouraged to
meet challenges and go beyond their limits. The young
people are encouraged to go beyond their limits. The
feeling of safety, understanding, and support is a necessary
condition for their full self-expression. Participants acquire
skills for positive and creative communication and analysis of
situations and team problem-solving. Throughout the course the
ideas of human values, man's place in nature, and his attitude
towards it are discussed.

orienteering, getting to know basic safety rules for staying on
the coast and in the sea, first aid training, swimming, water
rescue action, “ropes” course, non-impact camping, “solo”
time, night hike, ecological activities. Specialized games for
ice-breaking, orienteering, teambuilding, and challenge games,

Challenge
10
days course for children and teenager age 10-13 and 14-18.

The intention of the course is to give the participants
opportunity to get acquainted with the diversity and beauty of the
wild nature of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Through taking part in various activities
the children and teenagers are encouraged to overcome and go beyond
their personal limits, and to build a positive attitude for facing
challenges. The feeling of safety, understanding, and support is a
necessary condition for their full self-expression. Participants
acquire skills for positive communication, for analysis of situations
and team problem-solving. The human values, the man’s place in the
nature, and its attitude towards the natural environment are topics of
emphasis during the course.
The technical elements included in the course are: 6
day mountain hide including a peak climb, camping in the open, map and
compass orienteering, “ropes” course, “solo” time, getting
to know basic sea safety rules, swimming,
first aid and sea rescue action training, night hike, and ecological
activities. Specialized games for ice-breaking, orienteering,
teambuilding, challenge games, stories and discussions.

Vertical
8 - 10 day course for teenagers age 14 and above who have already
participated in Educo courses. These requirements are conditioned by the
higher level of technical and physical load and the level of
communication within the group.

Teenagers are given the opportunity to lead the group
and to make decisions within the boundaries of their understanding for
safety. Through participation in various challenging activities, young
people estimate their own potentials and these of the group as a
whole. They acquire new positive attitude towards their own
personality, the personalities of others in the group, as well as
towards the environment. The idea of supporting one another in their
willingness to be what they are. The teamwork is improved. The
participants make sense of the relationships between a single person
and the world, between choosing to be different and the real
possibility to be different, between the human values friendship and
love, Leadership qualities based on the personal experience are
developed...

aid actions, non-impact camping, "solo" time, ecological
ethics. Specialized games – discussions and stories.

courses include: rock climbing, rappelling, trekking, non-impact
camping, first aid – basic knowledge of rendering first aid and
self assistance in cases of accidents, “ropes” course (rope
gardens, trolley bus over lake or river), acquiring basic caving
knowledge, spending a night in a cave, night "solo" time,
ecological ethics. Specialized games, stories, and discussions.

Expedition
15 days
program for teenagers above 13 years of age.

The main purpose of this type of course is to give
young people the chance to study and get to know nature through
personal contact with it, to learn more about the different methods of
monitoring its state and about the ways to preserving it. Through this
course the participants make sense of the connection between man and
nature as a necessary condition for the preservation of the ecological
equilibrium because everything in nature is interconnected. In the
wild, teenagers learn to work as a team of individuals, acquire better
understanding of themselves, and develop leadership qualities. By
motivating a positive attitude towards the environment, young people
develop their sense of appreciation and responsibility for the natural
world. They turn the care of nature in their lifestyle. |
